When I Was Four
I was only four years old… My mom took me to my very first audition at the Tchaikovsky Music School. I had no idea that this moment would change my life forever. I walked into the room holding my mom’s hand. In front of us sat a panel of respected music professors. I was little… but I wasn’t afraid. After I finished playing, one of the professors turned to my mom and said, “Your daughter has an extraordinary musical talent.” I didn’t fully understand those words back then. But my mom did. From that day on, she believed in me with all her heart. Looking back today, I realize that little girl never stopped dreaming. Today, I have the privilege of helping my own students believe in themselves—just as someone once believed in me. ❤️
